Well, so I brought my bike to the shop. They couldnīt
figure out what it was at first, then they told me they
had cleaned the carb and everything was okay now.
Got my bike bike back on friday and was up for a ride today.
The bike fires up normal, real good power in mid-range, after proper warming up it revved alright, good
acceleration etc.
BUT: It still accelerates only up to 110 kph and then
the needle of the speedo slowly creeps um to 130 kph
and thatīs it!
The bike used to go 145 kph.
I know the Savage is not designed for high speeds but
this is going on my nerves since I do have to ride on
the Autobahn sometimes and I just donīt feel good
having the lamest mule around...
I got my rear tire replaced by a Metzeler ME 88, so
could the drag of a wider tire cost me 10 kph of the
bikeīs top-speed?
I donīt have no idea...?
